Welcome to our gorgeously appointed, secluded woodland retreat just outside the center of town in historic Jim Thorpe. Our small bed and breakfast, a top rated member of the Poconos Quality Assurance program for 5 years and reviewed by New York travel writers Joshua and Rachel Danaief Times-Beacon-Record (PDF), is a visual treat inside and out. It is crammed with original artwork, and has received rave reviews from guests as well as several travel writers. We are a perfect romantic getaway or relaxing retreat for the weary business traveler, or a haven for a few days of art, recreation, dining, and shopping.
We are sheltered from the noise of town, but we are only 1.5 miles from all the attractions and restaurants in historic Jim Thorpe.

Hill Home Forge came out of the imaginations of two artists, and grew from our hands and our hearts. Nic wrote a novel called "Mindflash", and Hill Home was where the people lived in the book. We decided to build our art studio and home here on this land, and so we named our house Hill Home Forge for our background as metalsmiths and as a tribute to Nic's novel.

If you love to eat, you will love Hill Home Forge. We are part of the organic farm to table network. We serve local free range eggs, fresh baked whole grain bread and produce in season from the local organic farm.
